The media has made it seemed like Liverpool is in a mini crisis after failing to win Plymouth in the FA cup and losing to Southampton in the League cup. Having said that, Liverpool currently has the best attack in EPL scoring 49 goals in 21 games. One thing to note is that their top scorer Sadio Mane is currently at the African Nations cup and unavailable for the game.

Swansea should be more well rested than Liverpool as they do not have a mid-week game. They concede an average of 2.2 goals per away game, scoring 0.9.

Despite losing Mane, Liverpool have multiple goal scorers in their team and are looking to gain 3 easy points against Swansea.

Wba has done well when winning when they won Westham, Watford, Swansea and Hull by 2 goals, Burnley by 4 goals. They look like a team who would thrash if they could win. Seems like WBA will win this game, but I will be backing them to win by 2 goals or more at a nice odds of 2.70.

Man City has been kind of slipping in their past few games after their fantastic start to the season. They lost to Chelsea, Leicester, Liverpool and recently 4-0 thrashing by Everton. Their home record is slightly better though, losing just once to Chelsea this season. They have at least scored 1 goal in each of their home games.

Tottenham are having the form of their lives now, winning 7 games in a row scoring 21 goals. Averaging 3 goals per game. However, only 2 of those are away games and they scored 4 goals in each of them against Southampton and Watford.

With Man city almost guarantee a goal at home, and with the recent goal scoring form of Tottenham, Tg over 2.5 would be a good bet.

MV received a shock defeat at wellington 4 days ago and looking to gain ground on leaders Sydney Fc. They havent been scoring a whole lot on their away games, scoring 11 in last 7 away games. MV are looking to bounce back from their defeat and gain some momentum before the top of the table clash against Sydney in their following game. This game looks like a goal fest potentially both sides scoring at least 2 each. However, I am rooting on MV to bounce back from their defeat with a decent odds.

These 2 team on paper looks evenly match and are on opposite form. With both teams scoring and conceding more than 1 per game. There is a high possibility that both teams will score. Tg over 2.5 for another goal to sneak in.

Even Though, MC are sitting at 3^rd in the league, they are 9 points away from 2^nd place MV and 8^th place WSW is only 8 points away. A series of losses could put them way down the table. MC league position could be misleading, even tho they are just 1 of the 3 teams with positive goal difference. MC only won 1 out of their last 8 games. They only failed to score on 1 occasion this season.

CCM sitting at the bottom of the table with just 10 points out of 15 games. However, they are only 13 points away from MC in 3^rd. This could be anyone’s game aside from the top 2 teams (Sydney & Melb Vict). CCM have the worst defense in the league conceding an average of more than 2 goals/ game. CCM has conceded in all but 1 game where they were 2-0 victorious over Perth glory at home.

Even though this game seems like goals a plenty, I think that the league position could be portraying a facade on the strength between the teams. With last game Wellington 3-0 victory over Melbourne Victory, shows that upset could happen. I am going for a riskier choice of CCM +1.5, with small bets on FT draw and CCM win.

Everton only didn’t managed to score at home twice this season, once in the league cup against norwich, and once against Liverpool. Other than that, they haven’t been scoring a bunch, usually clocking just 1 or 2 goals.

Man City are sitting 5^th in the table and Pep would not be please about that. They have pretty good away record, winning 7 out of their last 10, and scoring an average of 2.2 goals. Man city failed to find the net away 3 times this season against Barcelona, Man Utd and Liverpool on new year’s eve.

I expect Man City not able to drop any more points, especially in a crucial stage in this league campaign where the top teams are consistently winning. Going for a simple Man City win

This game against Liverpool will prove their worth. Man Utd are sitting 6^th in the table desperately need more points to get into the top 4. They haven’t been scoring a bunch, but have the 3^rd best defense in the league conceding 19 in their 20 games. They are currently on a 11 unbeaten match run in the EPL.

Liverpool are sitting at 4^th in the table, just 5 points adrift of Chelsea at time of analysis(before Leicester v Chelsea). They have scored most goals in the Epl, scoring 48 in 20 games.

This looks like a game Man United are looking to win to close the gap at the top. And just basing on the form of the teams, Man Utd are looking good for a narrow win.
